When seven equals food heaven

The annual ArteFino just came to a close last Sunday, and for the last four years, when you mention ArteFino to me, I immediately connect it to The Seven Pantry. A curated food service/consolidator that’s gained an enviable reputation for bringing under one umbrella the truly best of the best, The Seven Pantry was born out of the pandemic, and made it’s proverbial first bow in 2020. When at ArteFino and you’re beginning to feel those hunger pangs, or just want to prolong the retail therapy and take a break to snack, The Seven Pantry is the ultimate go-to booth.

The brainchild of Patty Pineda and Isa Cruz, their booth is the kind of grazing table that has you lingering beyond the allotted time you gave yourself. The charcuterie, the spreads, the jams and sweets, the often familiar now given a twist and new taste profile; these all add up to still another reason to do a taste check and find a new favorite that one has to take home and share with family and friends. Just this ArteFino, my new discovery was the Polvoron of 50 Shades of Dough. It’s Polvoron with a crunch and bite that’s all it’s own, and I’m a believer!

The best news to hear about The Seven Pantry is that they now cater via their over-stuffed, well curated, high-quality grazing tables. And trust me when I say this is the Ferrari, Patek Philippe, of grazing tables. They’re customized for the client and occasion, so there is no set menu as such. Instead, what Patty and Isa like to do is confer with the client, and they build on that discussion to come up with a special grazing table set-up.

They’ve also been earning plaudits for their Gifting Service. Agencies and end-clients have been gushing about the unique combinations of their food-inspired gift boxes and tote bags. They’re placed in reusable hampers, crates or bags, and that the food items found within are so special make them such great gifts to get - something all those giving the gift appreciate.

One can head to The Seven Pantry social media platforms to discover more. There’s ordering online if it’s for your individual home needs, and their Palm Village office is a pick-up point for those who wish to do so. And the same social media platforms will provide the information on how to avail of their catering and gift service.

If you ask me what my The Seven Pantry checklist of personal favorites would consist of, I’d say the following, and they can be your "codigo," if it’s your first time to indulge in the heavenly and sinful goodness of TSP!

Thr 50 Shades of Dough Empanadas are the ultimate in being flaky and tasty, I love the Ham & Brie. Their Malagos Cheese, and I’d single out the Sophia Cheese that pairs well with Saw Saw Tomato Chili Jam. This is a perfect segues to Chef Sau, so do check out his Chocolate Bagoong spread.

In no particular order, look for Ryleigh’s Table Cheese Dips, the Juan Eats Wonton Chips and Spiced Honey, Gourmandise by Sunshine and her Almond Corn Cakes, Benedicto Kitchen’s Roast Beef for when you need a main course to share with a big group, and Sugarbee cakes, pastries, and cupcakes.

Believe me, you won’t go wrong with any of the above, and that’s just an introduction to the range of brands and products that The Seven Pantry have assembled. The Seven is food heaven, and you deserve to be "blessed."
