Mother of slain PWD in Antipolo City offers cash reward for info on murder suspect

The mother of a slain person with disability (PWD) whose body was found stuffed inside a sack with multiple stab wounds and floating in a river in Antipolo City has offered a ₱20,000 cash reward for any information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators. 
 

Josefina De Santores is offering the ₱20,000 cash reward for any information that could lead to the identity and eventual arrest of the killer or killers of her son Christian A. Maputol.
 

Maputol, a person with disability (PWD), was found stuffed inside a sack that was floating in a river in Paenaan in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City on August 17, two days after he left his residence.
 

Santores told the Manila Bulletin that as of August 21, police investigators have yet to give an update but she was informed a few days earlier that the cadaver of his son would be subjected to autopsy procedure and that the result would be released to her immediately.
 

Santores and her family posted on social media that Christian has been missing since August 15. 
 

Antipolo City Mayor Casimiro "Junjun" Ynares III shared a post on Facebook of Maputol’s sister asking for help in finding Christian.

On August 17, Maputol’s sister posted a message on the Facebook page of Mayor Ynares, informing him about the discovery of the victim’s cadaver in a river in Barangay San Jose. His body bore multiple stab wounds.
 

Capt. Jacklyn Dela Fuente, chief information officer of the Rizal Police Provincial Office told the Manila Bulletin that the Maputol murder case was still undergoing follow-up investigation.
