Jeffrey and Charlotte Mae Bactong have been making sweet music together for quite some time now. (bakit di nyo ako sinama?!) They started in a band called SoundWorks that eventually went to a more intimate collaboration (ayan tayo e!)  They decided to get married in 2017. (dapat nasalo ko ang bouquet!)

The couple opted to work as entertainers in a hotel in China to hone their craft and elevate their musical skills. (may pag-elevate talaga?!) They called their tandem Sweetnotes. (sweet-sweetan na sila!)  In 2019, they returned to the Philippines, but the pandemic prevented them from returning to China. (yan na ang simula ng bagong yugto!)

Jeffrey and Charlotte began to perform anew, doing live streams during their sets. (walang makakaawat!) Their video live stream from Fish Caught KTV Bar went viral. (pa-viral  ha!) Their renditions of Parting Time, Iniibig Kita, and Minamahal Kita immediately gained recognition, particularly among OFWs who found their music comforting (napapa-emote ang mga kuya at ate mo!)

With this success, the duo received numerous invites, mostly gigs, performances, and shows across the Philippines. (segue sa song ng Piliin mo ang Pilipinas!) They also have a significant social media presence. They have 3.6 million Facebook followers, while their YouTube account has 1.15 million subscribers. (may ipapalag pa yan!)

Their tandem is no stranger to critics comparing them to the popular group  MYMP. (may isyu?!) They welcome opinions, but they are certain that they lay no claim of ownership to any revivals they perform onstage. (wait nyo,  may pa-original songs na raw mamaya!)
