Sandro Mulach files rape complaint vs 2 GMA Network's independent contractors

Actor Sandro Mulach on Monday, August 19, filed rape complaint against two independent contractors of GMA Network before the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Mulach's lawyer Czarina Raz named those charged in the complaint as Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.

“The evidence is strong. We have the evidence that we need. We will get the justice Sandro deserves,” Raz told journalists.

“It is rape through sexual assault and several acts of lasciviousness,” Raz also said.

Aside from his lawyer, Sandro was accompanied by his father Nino Mulach in filing the complaint.

Raz said the complaint was filed following investigation conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

She said: "Nakalap lahat ng ebidensya, nakuha ang mga statement ng mga testigo (they gathered the evidence and got the statements from the witnesses).”

During the hearings of the Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media, Nones and Cruz denied the sexual abuse allegations that allegedly took place on July 20 following the GMA Gala.

After receiving a formal complaint from Sandro, GMA network issued a statement which said that it has “initiated its own investigation even before receiving the formal complaint.”

“The Network assures the public and all stakeholders of its commitment to conducting this investigation with the highest standards of fairness and impartiality,” it stated.
