₱29 and ₱45 per kilo of rice for sale in Antipolo City's weekend market Aug. 16-18

The ₱29 and ₱45 rice will once again be for sale at the Antipolo Weekend Market located inside the Sumulong Park in Antipolo City.

The office of City Mayor Casimiro "Junjun" Ynares III announced that the Farmers Weekend Market will sell the ₱29 per kilo of rice exclusively to 4Ps beneficiaries, senior citizens, PWDs and solo parents only, beginning Friday, August 16.

The rice will only be available to Antipolo City and Rizal residents on a first-come, first-served basis at five kilos per qualified beneficiary.

Those who would like to avail of the ₱45 per kilo of rice are allowed to buy a maximum of 25 kilos without having to present any document.

Aside from rice, locally harvested vegetables and fruits will also be on sale at the weekend market that opens until 7 p.m. at the Sumulong Park which  is located in front of the city hall and adjacent to the Antipolo Cathedral.
