Marcoses celebrate Imelda's 95th birthday at Malacañan Palace

President Marcos has shared scenes from former first lady Imelda Marcos' birthday celebration at the MalacaÃ±an Palace.

Marcos took to social media anew to share a series of photos taken during the celebration of the Marcos matriarch's 95th birthday held on Tuesday, July 2.

The former first lady was clad in a golden Filipiniana. Her daughtersâ€”Imee and Irene â€”and the first family were in attendance.

"95 wonderful years!" the President said on his Facebook post on Wednesday, July 3. "Happy birthday, Mom! We all love you dearly and are so grateful for every moment with you."

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos also shared a bunch of photos from the family's celebration, with a caption: Happy 95th birthday, Mama Meldy!

On July 2, the first couple also took to social media their birthday greetings for the former first lady.

MalacaÃ±ang also said that the first family only had a quiet celebration with family and friends this year.

It was the third time the former first lady celebrated her birthday after being back in MalacaÃ±an Palace through her son's presidency.
