Rizal PCSO, AACs distribute relief goods to flood hit residents in Taytay, Rizal

Flood-stricken communities in Taytay, Rizal were among the beneficiaries of the ongoing relief operations of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Small Town Lottery Authorized Agency Corporations (AACs) in Rizal to areas that were hit by flood caused by Typhoon Carina and the enhanced southwest monsoon on Wednesday, July 24.
The team went to Manuel I. Santos Integrated School in Sitio Lambak, Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal on Thursday afternoon, July 25, to distribute food packs to the victims.

Earlier, President Marcos urged government agencies to help in the national government’s efforts to reach out to the victims of the massive flood that affected a large portion of the country, including Rizal.
More than 200 evacuees who were displaced from their flooded communities in Sitio Lambak, Bangiad Dulo, and nearby areas in Barangay San Juan were given food packs that included a few kilos of rice and grocery items during the second day of the outreach activity.

Taytay, along with the towns of Cainta, Rodriguez, and San Mateo were among the municipalities in Rizal that were severely hit by flood.
Initial assessment by the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said that the typhoon left three persons dead, six injured, and one still missing in the province.
