Mayor Joy declares half-day work for Quezon City Hall employees on July 22 for SONA 2024

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte announced on Sunday, July 21, that all offices in the city hall will only be open until noon on July 22.

According to the memorandum, all offices in the city hall will be open until 12 noon for the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, essential services such as law enforcement, traffic management, fire protection, health, disaster and response management will remain open.

The city government, earlier released a traffic advisory for the SONA.
