'Confirmed': Aquino, Tolentino no longer listed as MB members

Anita Linda R. Aquino and V. Bruce J. Tolentino's names have been struck off the roster of Monetary Board members at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

Their removal was evident on the central bank's website on Tuesday, July 2, subsequent to reports indicating their resignation effective June 30, 2024.

Despite these developments, neither the BSP nor Malacañang has provided official confirmation regarding the membership status of Aquino and Tolentino on the seven-member Monetary Board.
