A cherished tradition that marks the transition from student to graduate

CEU class of 2024 bids farewell in Sampaguita Interlude

This event symbolizes the unity and continuity within the CEU community. A highlight of the ceremony is the symbolic transfer of responsibility. Graduating students pass sampaguita garlands to their junior partners, symbolizing the handing over of duties and responsibilities to the next batch of senior students. This tradition not only honors the achievements of the graduates but also inspires the incoming seniors to uphold the values and standards of CEU.

The Sampaguita Interlude is more than just a ceremony. It is a rite of passage that strengthens the bond among CEU students and fosters a sense of pride and belonging within the Escolarian community. As graduates move on to the next chapter of their lives, they carry with them the values and lessons learned in CEU, embodied by the delicate yet resilient sampaguita flower. This year’s Sampaguita Interlude promises to be a memorable event, celebrating the accomplishments of the graduates and the enduring spirit of the CEU community.
