37 San Ramon Prison PDLs are senior high school graduates

A total of 37 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF) in Zamboanga City finished senior high school and participated in the graduation ceremony held last May 30. 

In a statement, the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said the SRPPF will continue to support programs for PDLs “to prepare them to embark on their future journeys upon reintegration to the free society.”

The 37 PDLs finished senior high school which was provided by the Global Technical School of Zamboanga City, Inc., BuCor said.

Aside from those in SRPPF, 29 PDLs at the Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm in Occidental Mindoro and 110 PDLs at the Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF) in Panabo City also finished senior high school last May 29 and May 22, respectively, and graduation ceremonies were held for them, it said.
