Ride-hailing app rider involved in San Juan robbery arrested - San Juan Police
Operatives of the San Juan City Police Station on Thursday, June 20, have arrested two suspects, including a ride-hailing app rider, after robbing a woman inside her house in Barangay Addition Hills, San Juan City, on June 15.

The police identified the suspects as Joshua Manuel, 21, a tricycle driver, and Christopher Parangan, 26, a ride-hailing app rider.
Prior to the June 15 incident, the police said the suspects also robbed another woman in Barangay Maytunas on Wednesday, June 19.
The follow-up operation led to Parangan's arrest, where he admitted to the crimes and identified Manuel as his accomplice.
The police also recovered the motorcycle used in the two crimes in Parangan's possession.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) e-Rogue Gallery System also revealed that the duo have previous criminal records.
Parangan and Manuel are now at the San Juan City Police Station for the filing of appropriate charges.
Meanwhile, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director MGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. lauded the efforts of the investigators to identify and arrest the suspects.
