Woman hurt by robber wearing ride-hailing app uniform in San Juan
A woman sustained bruises and scratches after fighting a robber who entered her house and took her bag containing P20,000 in Barangay Addition Hills, San Juan City.

Based on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, the victim was seen parking her car outside their gate when a man wearing a helmet suddenly approached her and her companion.
“We thought it was someone from there asking us to move the parking, [but] holdaper pala,” the victim said.
The suspect then went inside the gate and forcibly took the victim's bag from her shoulder.
He immediately fled and hopped on a waiting motorcycle outside the gate.
The footage showed that the motorcycle's rider had a phone holder in the vehicle and was wearing a uniform from Move It, a ride-hailing app.
The victim also stated that the motorcycle's plate number was covered.
“It was a struggle and I ended up with bruises and scratches on my arm and broken nails. I never have money on me except right then, when I was paid in cash. The bag contained a super dilapidated wallet with P20,000, all my credit cards, and valid IDs,” the victim said.
Meanwhile, Move It Philippines released a statement on Tuesday, June 18, regarding the incident, saying that “we are still unable to accurately confirm whether the individual in the video is indeed a Move It rider.”
It added that they have already coordinated with local authorities to investigate the incident.
The San Juan Police is now conducting backtracking to locate and arrest the suspects.
