11-year-old girl found dead, possibly raped, in Gen Trias, Cavite

CAVITE – An 11-year-old girl was found dead and was possibly raped in a forested area in General Trias City on Tuesday, June 11.

A report from General Trias Component City Police Station (CCPS) said the body was found by a resident who was on his way to get bamboo shoots in the area.

The victim’s upper garments were raised upwards while her shorts were pulled down.

Authorities are looking at the possibility of rape, but they are still waiting for autopsy results to corroborate their findings.

The local police station has already requested assistance from the Provincial Forensic Unit.
