However, lawmen failed to apprehend Quiboloy as he was not present there.

These warrants received by  his lawyer were issued by a Pasig City court for the qualified human trafficking cases filed against him and five others. Quiboloy is also facing child and sexual abuse cases in Davao City.

His supporters later on staged a rally to demand justice for their leader.

According to the Davao City Police Office, the warrants were the result of an extensive investigation on the criminal charges he and his supporters allegedly committed.

The DCPO said this underscores their commitment to uphold the rule of law and vowed to ensure that no violators are beyond the reach of the long arm of the law.

The primary goal is to enforce the law while ensuring the safety and rights of all citizens especially the Filipino people, it added.

Police urged KOJC to remain calm and cooperate with the ongoing implementation of court processes.
