The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) successfully conducted local absentee voting (LAV) on Tuesday, April 29, ahead of the 2025 midterm elections.

Bulacan PPO officer-in-charge Col. Franklin Estoro said the LAV allowed police personnel who will be deployed to ensure peace and order on election day to exercise their right to vote in advance.
Estoro emphasized the importance of the law enforcement participation in the elections. Voting, he said, is not only a right but also an important duty of every Filipino.
"Through local absentee voting, we set an example of adherence and respect for the democratic process," he said.
The voting process was closely supervised by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) led by Atty. Julio Nicanor Guinto, Election Officer IV of Malolos City. Strict compliance with election laws was observed, including the enforcement of proper documentation, the secrecy of ballots, and the secure handling of election materials.
The Bulacan PPO expressed confidence that the active participation of police personnel would help boost public trust in a clean, peaceful, and honest electoral process.
The local absentee voting is part of the broader efforts of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to ensure order and security during one of the country’s most important democratic exercises—the 2025 elections.
