Bangusan street party all set in Dagupan City today

25,000 bangus ready to be grilled – Fernandez

DAGUPAN CITY – Tents and grills are ready for the Bangusan street party for the Bangus Festival at the New De Venecia Road Extension here today, Wednesday, April 30.

Mayor Belen Fernandez said about 25,000 certified Bangus Dagupan will be grilled during the street party.

The PNP is expecting thousands of people to join the street party, the main event of the festival. The street party will also feature various performances by artists and bands.

The Public Order and Safety Office will enforce the closure of the road for the event. Motorists were advised to take alternative routes.

Fernandez suspended work in all government offices here from 12 noon to 5 p.m. today to give way to the event.

However, the suspension of work shall not apply to government offices and agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness and response to disasters and emergencies, and or performance of other vital services, as determined by their respective heads of offices.
