Rotary District 3830 bares lineup of speakers for upcoming DISCON 2024

Program features the Rotary's traditional ceremonies

The Rotary International District 3830 led by "Top Gun" Governor Jay C. Tambunting has announced its lineup of speakers for its upcoming District Conference (DISCON) 2024, its grand fellowship event scheduled on May 10 to May 11 at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.

Keynote Speaker for Conference Day 1 will be Rotary International President Gordon McInally’s Representative, Past Rotary International Director (PRID) Eunsoo Moon of Rotary Club of Cheonan Dosol, South Korea. Tambunting will open Day 1 with the Rotary's ceremonial "Call to Order" and later on give his "State of the District Address," while DISCON 2024 Chairperson Gil G. Chua will deliver the welcome remarks, and other District officers will take part in the program in different capacities.

Guest speakers for Day 2 include Philhealth President and CEO Emmanuel Ledesma, Jr., who will talk about "Empowering Progress through Health Care"; Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) President and CEO Jose Teodoro "TG" Limcaoco, who will talk about "Preserving Legacy through Continuous Reinvention;" and PLDT Inc. Senior Vice President and Network Head Menardo "Butch" G. Jimenez, who will talk about "Championing Connectivity for Filipino Homes."

There will also be a fireside chat on DISCON Day 2 titled "Making Good Lasting Impact in the Modern World" to be moderated by Cong. Paul Ruiz Daza, Northern Samar's 1st District Representative. Joining the chat are environmentalist and mental health advocate Cat Triviño; actor, model, entrepreneur Enchong Dee; and Agile Intelligence Managing Director Chewy Chua.

These guest speakers will be the part of the program's key highlights, complementing the DISCON 2024 program that features the Rotary's traditional ceremonies, District updates and learning sessions, the presentation of new clubs and the District's next leaders, and the culminating Governor's Ball. The two-day event will also have exciting entertainment numbers.
