Have yet to find a professional singer who considers singing nonstop in videoke bars or elsewhere his way of letting out steam, de-stressing.
Now comes Ice Seguerra chiming in: “My favorite pastime is singing talaga. We even have a portable videoke machine that I bring everywhere. Whenever I want to de-stress, all I need is to look for a mic.”
Ice is set to get a fill of his therapeutic diversion as he brings a one-of-a-kind experience in his first concert this 2024, Videoke Hits, at Music Museum in Greenhills May 10 and 11.
Videoke Hits hopes to be a haven for videoke lovers looking for a memorable jamming session.
During a recent mediacon, Ice narrated how their production company, Fire & Ice, got swamped with thousands of song titles for possible inclusion in the concert. This came after the team posted a shout-out asking viewers what they wanted to hear on the show.
“I’m still at a loss on how we can trim down the number of songs suggested,” he said.
From timeless ballads to chart-toppers, the setlist will feature a diverse range of songs handpicked by fans.
“Pag nagbibidyoke ako, I don’t want to sing my songs kasi feeling ko, trabaho. So, sa videoke ko nilalabas yung mga paborito kong kanta.”
Liza Dino-Seguerra, CEO of Fire and Ice, lets out a tease:
“Prepare for a night of collaboration as Ice invites special guests on stage.”
Presented by Katinko, ‘Videoke Hits’ is a celebration of our videoke culture.
