Following her separation from her former longtime boyfriend, Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo has just become the most sought-after young woman in entertainment. She reportedly has a string of suitors, including top names like Jericho Rosales, Alden Richards, and several other personalities in sports and business. Kath says finding a new relationship isn’t her priority at this point.

Firefly, named best picture in MMFF 2023, is now airing on Prime Video worldwide.

Cesar Montano has just wrapped up a new action-drama film, The Blood Brothers, co-starring Victor Neri and Allan Paule. Wearing three hats as actor, director, and producer, Cesar says the project was inspired by his visit to the municipality of Upi in Maguindanao, where he met Ronald Adamat, who wrote a book of the same title.

Heavy load as a voice teacher sidelined Ladine Roxas’ blooming career as a performer and recording artist. 

Add to that the long-term pandemic made it even more impossible to stage a comeback. 

After several years of being away from mainstream entertainment, the 2001 Voice of Asia grand champion is ready to claim back her spot on centerstage.

Ladine has just dropped a single, Within, in partnership with Kris Lawrence under Saturno Music Production. You can say it’s a long-delayed follow-up to her successful album, "How Can I Make You Love Me?" 

In a recent mediacon, Ladine, who has toured half the globe as a lounge singer in five-star hotels, narrated how she missed singing. She recalled telling her partner, Vehnee Saturno if she could go back.

Turned out Vehnee had just the right song for her comeback, a thrilling, difficult song with a steady melody needing a male partner. ‘Within’ was named best song at the Asia Shanghai Music Festival years back.

The choice was confined to their common friend, Kris, whose vocal range both Ladine and Vehnee could only gush over.

 Within was first recorded by Sarah Geronimo; unfortunately, it wasn’t promoted as a single. Ladine and Kris have given it a new life, with an entirely different twist that can make you run out of breath, in awe, just listening to it.  

Ladine says she won’t give up her teaching at Saturno Music Studio, where she is managing director. She takes pride in the worldwide reach of their school, allowing her to teach students from the US, Great Britain, Italy, etc.

Teacher Ladine is even more proud of her graduates, who have won awards in TV singing contests, the likes of Darren Espanto, Esang de Torres, Janine Berdin, Marielle Montellano, Zephanie Dimaranan, Eleana Gabunada. Singing champions all.  Can you blame Ladine for slowing down on her singing career when she could groom champions by mothering them?
