Tealive celebrates 50th shop in the PH by unveiling new ube flavors and cool summer drinks
Ube is definitely 'in' this 2024
Tealive recently unveiled its 50th store in the Philippines at BGC Park West, Taguig City. The celebration, which took place in the late afternoon heat of the concrete jungle that is BGC, was the perfect summer affair, filled with fun, good cheer, and lots of iced drinks.

Present at the event was Brian Loo, the entrepreneur behind Tealive. The brand is present in 11 countries with over 1,000 stores worldwide, and stands as the leading bubble tea brand in Southeast Asia. Tealive debuted in the Philippines in 2022.

Loo explained how his brand aims to revolutionize tea-drinking culture and establish it as the "New Coffee" globally. Loo, envisioned Tealive as "Born in Malaysia, Raised for The World," he explained during the event at BGC.
Ube overload
At the opening, ube is definitely a hit. In addition to celebrating the launch of their 50th branch, Tealive introduced new "UBEr flavors," solidifying the bright purple root's status as the flavor of the year for 2024.

The “Tealive Ube Series” will be available to the public (unfortunately) in June this year. We tried Ube Matcha, Ube Halo, Ube Milktea, and Ube Scramble. We also tried their cool fruity tea drinks, as well as their toasties, burgers, and fries.
Get ready to 'Bru'
The 50th store opening was also the perfect chance to introduce Tealive's new mascot, Bru. According to them, Bru "is an icon with a quirky, funky character who counters negative vibes with his wise mind and edgy personality."

The mascot danced and made finger hearts non-stop, delighting VIPs and media guests at the shop.
After Bru's dance number, guests continued to sample Tealive's menu, which featured classic Milk Tea products such as Signature Milk Tea, Original Milk Tea, and Original Pearl Milk Tea, as well as flavorful options like Wintermelon Milk Tea and Brown Sugar Milk Tea.

Beyond the classics, we also tried fruity choices such as Summer Strawberry Pudding Smoothie and Matcha options like Wintermelon Matcha Latte.
Additionally, toasted treats like Cheezy Chicken Katsu Toastea provided a satisfying snack that afternoon.
The 50th Tealive store at BGC Park West in Taguig City is open 24 hours daily.
