We all know that Bossing Vic Sotto was one of the instruments behind the success of Aiza “Ice” Seguerra’s child superstar status decades ago (lakas maka-ice ice baby!) He also influenced Ice to develop his love for singing. (lagi sila may duet noon sa Bulaga!) Ice is now one of the most respectable singers in the Philippine Music industry. This is one reason why he is always available for Bossing. Just recently, he surprised the comedy icon at his birthday celebration on Eat Bulaga, wearing a singing queen outfit. (ano ito pagbabalik loob?!)

“Thursday nila ako tinext para sa birthday ni Tito Vic ng Saturday. I said yes. Friday, eto na, nag message staff na Direk Ice, may gagawin ka. Isa ka dun sa magiging Singing Queens sa Peraphy. Dadamitan po kayo na girl. Sabi ko, wala akong damit na pambabae. Di pwede yung sa nanay ko, pang matronix na yun! Sabi nila, sila raw bahala sa lahat," Ice recalls (ay marami si Paolo Ballesteros!)
For decades, their father and child relationship has never wane (tong its daw unang tinuro sa kanya ni Bossing!)

“We really don't talk about my career or what I chose to do but I could see in his face na he is very proud. Ang sarap lang tulad nong 35th anniversary ko nandun sya, normally hindi mo naman mapapa guest si Tito Vic. Sabi nga ni Pauleen mahal na mahal ka nitong tatay mo, para mapalabas mo yan. But he was there. Even on my 25th he was there. And you could see it in his eyes, na pagtumingin s'ya, na he is proud at happy ako," Ice shares (at ninong si Bossing sa kasal nila ni Liza Dino!)

Aside from Bossing, Ice is also thankful to his wife Liza Dino who never leaves his side. “Ayaw ko yung nag eenvision kasi napapagod ako. Yung asawa ko sya yung mahilig mag-envision. Ako kasi pag masyadong malayo iniisip, napapagod ako. I have never been a planner. Lagi lang akong go with the flow.Ngayon lang talaga nagkaroon ng direksyon ang career ko dahil sa asawa ko. Sya yung dapat ganito, dapat by September may ganyan.” (kunin kong talent manager yan para magkadireksyon ako!)

In his  guest appearance on our youtube channel Marites University,  she promoted her Videoke hits concert at the Music Museum scheduled on May 10 at 11. “Masaya ito kasi mga Videoke hits yung kakantahin ko tapos may interaction sa audience na pwedeng maki-sing along.” (ay magdadala ako ng sariling mic… yung boom mic!)
