Why Beyonce’s team responded to Bea Fabregas’ viral post in under 24 hours

'It was really crazy how fast it got to them,' shares the radio DJ, host, and mom

I was with DJ and host Bea Fabregas at an event last week, a day after she posted a video of her pizza date with her two-year-old son Tyler. We talked about how adorable that one-on-one date was and the conversation they had. And good thing she captured it, with one hand trying to feed her son the pizza they ordered, and the other hand recording the whole conversation of him asking his mom if Beyoncé could join them.

For those who missed the video, here’s a recap for those who weren’t able to watch the reel that Bea posted on her Instagram and TikTok accounts with the caption, “ Tyler in this whole video: Hina naman ni Mama hindi kaibigan si Beyoncé 🤨 (Mom doesn’t have enough connections, she’s not friends with Beyoncé).”

In the video, Tyler started asking his mom, “Where’s Beyoncé? Can I visit Beyoncé?” to which Bea answered, “We don’t know her. She’s not mama’s friend. She also doesn’t live here, baby.”

Bea also shared, in our conversation, that they watched Beyoncé perform in the Super Bowl via live stream. This is most probably why the two-year-old boy couldn’t get enough of the multi-awarded singer and performer.

This video, which has over 5.8 million views on Instagram and 15.5 million views on Tiktok, has been shared by many. This has led to Beyoncé’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure to reach out to Bea who shared the conversation in her social media accounts. “Hi, My name is Yvette Noel-Schure. I am writing to you about the cutest video you posted with the little boy wanting to visit Beyoncé. I represent her as her publicist. Are you his family? She would love to send something to him.”

On April 25, Bea posted a photo of her son Tyler with a bouquet of flowers in blue roses, paper roses, bells of Ireland, and eucalyptus, along with a colorful green unicorn stuffed toy.

“For the record Beyoncé and Tyler are now, actually, officially friends! Through the power of Queen B’s internet (millions of views and likes—it’s crazy!), she saw the video and sent over some of her favorite blue flowers, a new animal best friend for Tyler and the sweetest message that our family will now always treasure,” Bea posted. She also gave a teaser of the special note to which she addressed her son as her friend—“To my friend Tyler,” and another part of the message which included “I see your halo, Tyler!”

Bea also thanked everyone who was part of this amazing experience, “Thank you so much for thinking of our little family, Yvette and Beyoncé. I mean, with the amount of mentions and videos Beyonce gets everyday, it still blows our mind to know time was set aside to send this sweet gift over. My mama heart is crying.”

“Thank you to everyone who shared it, commented, liked it. Tyler may be too young to remember all this, but I’ll always remind him to dream big and shoot for the stars! Beyoncé sent my baby flowers!”

Over on Bea’s Instagram stories, “I just want to share, Ms. Yvette, Beyonce’s publicist, who is in my DMs, it’s actually crazy when you say it out loud. Beyonce’s publicist messaged me,” she stopped midway, continuing, “Ms. Yvette actually messaged me the day after my post. Like the post was only up for 19 hours, wala pang 24 hours and she already messaged. So it was really crazy how fast it got to them, to the team, to Beyonce. So I just want to say thank you to everybody, rejoicing with us. It’s really crazy, and I don’t think I’ll ever believe in it. It’s nuts.”

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from all of this is that, as a parent, we should always encourage our children to dream—no matter how big or small they are—and believe in the power of possibility.
