The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said another short-lived phreatic event occurred at the Taal Main Crater, which was the fourth eruptive activity that was recorded by the Main Crater Observation Station (VTMC) on Saturday, April 20.
The event, with a duration of about four minutes, happened at 05:10 p.m., said Phivolcs.
Phivolcs also said it produced a 600-meter-high white steam plume drifting southwest.
At around 9 a.m., two successive phreatic eruptions were recorded followed by another eruption at around 11 a.m.
