The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said another short-lived phreatic event was observed in the Taal Main Crater, as recorded by the Main Crater Observation Station (VTMC) on Saturday, April 20.
It said the event happened at 11:02 a.m. and lasted about five minutes.
Following the two successive phreatic eruptions that occurred at past 9 a.m. on April 20, the event produced a 300-meter-high white steam plume drifting northwest.
