Reebok announces the launch of the highly-anticipated FloatZig 1 Running Shoes in the Philippines. Combining Reebok’s award-winning performance Floatride Energy Foam and iconic Zig Tech technology in the midsole shape, the all-new running model is lightweight and springy, and is designed to make running more fun and enjoyable for all.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the New Shape of Running with FloatZig 1,” says Todd Krinsky, Reebok president and CEO. “By combining our award-winning Floatride Energy Foam cushioning designed for the elite runner with our unique outsole shape, we created a running shoe that offers premium support and comfort, all while being unique, bold, and stylish.”

FloatZig 1 combines one of Reebok’s most well-known geometric design silhouettes, the Zig Tech technology, with the industry-leading performance running Floatride Energy Foam, cutting down on excess weight and stiffness to create optimal energy return designed for the everyday runner. Built for new runners, seasoned professionals, and everyone in between, FloatZig 1 offers best-in-class comfort, support, performance, and style at an accessible price point.

"With both our product and within our irreverent Running Hacks global marketing campaign, we focused on the joy and excitement running can bring to all.” 

Reebok will highlight FloatZig 1 with Running Hacks, an irreverent global marketing campaign featuring a range of creative ‘hack’ vignettes positioned to make running more fun and more productive, encouraging movement in a comical and lighthearted tone. Headlining the campaign is Reebok’s diverse athlete and talent roster sharing their own unique hacks, including American football standout Justin Fields, college basketball champion Angel Reese, and run-influencer Erin Azar (@ImMrsSpaceCadet), their personal vignettes to be unveiled throughout the season ahead.

For the Philippine launch, Reebok Philippines partnered with EZ Run Club, one of the biggest running communities in the Philippines, to mount a couple of events that highlight the joy and excitement of running. On April 19, EZ Run Club members will be joined by running enthusiasts and Reebok Philippines ambassadors in the first-ever fun run to be done inside SM Megamall. Keep an eye out on the 3rd floor of the Mega Fashion Hall area at 7 p.m. to witness this fun event!

On April 21, a special EZ Run Club Kape At Takbuhan session will be held in Kapitolyo, Pasig, where anyone can join in an 8k run along a Floatzig Z-shaped route. Reebok gear will also be raffled off to those who participate in this Sunday morning session, which will start at 6 a.m.

Ushering in Reebok’s New Shape of Running, FloatZig 1 is the first to launch within the new FloatZig product family. The brand’s new running icon will be offered in multiple iterations to meet the needs of a wide range of runners. Also arriving is the FloatZig Symmetros—a dual-density, extra stable offering built for a supportive ride on longer miles. In FW24, the product range will expand further to include a carbon-fiber plate model, FloatZig X1, while the Zig Dynamica 5.0 (P4395), the 5th iteration of the everyday runner is now available.

The FloatZig 1 will be available at Reebok stores (SM Megamall, SM Seaside Cebu, SM CDO Downtown Premier, and SM City Davao) and its official online store Reebok.ph.
