Young Filipino minds shine at 9th Philippine Robothon Competition

A showcase of innovation and ingenuity, the 9th Philippine Robothon Competition 2024 concluded at St. Paul College. Themed "FUTURE: Filipinos in Unified Technologies, Unveiling Robotics Excellence; Pagtanaw sa Ating Ambisyon Tungo sa Matatag na Edukasyon" was co-organized by First Eduspec Inc. and Rex Education.

This prestigious competition allowed young minds in the country to demonstrate their technical skills and encourage them to think of innovative solutions to real-world problems.

In the event, four schools were hailed as champions in different mini-robot challenge categories. They were St. Paul College Pasig (Primary), Las Pinas Montessori School (Middle), Brokenshire College Toril (Junior), and Grace Christian College (Senior). Meanwhile, De La Salle University Integrated School (Middle) and Immaculate Conception - Greenhills (High School) triumphed in the innovative open categories.

The 9th Robothon Competition also featured a seminar-workshop that aimed to equip students with the skills they need to navigate the complexities of the modern world. The seminar-workshop titled "Unlocking Learner's Potential through STEAM Education" was conducted by experts Mr. Gino Luayon, Ms. Vilma Clerigo, and Mr. Paolo Josef Blando. It focused on the significance of STEAMâ€”Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathâ€”in developing the workforce of the future.

Both First Eduspec Inc. and Rex Education are highly dedicated in their support of STEAM education. Their partnership for the 9th Philippine Robothon Competition reaffirms their commitment to nurturing young minds for lifelong learning.
