After the stellar product debut of the HONOR Magic V2, HONOR X9b, and the HONOR X8b, HONOR Philippines is at it again as it launches the HONOR X7b.  

The latest addition to HONOR's impressive X Series line-up, the HONOR X7b is another hidden gem that won't break the bank. Building on my previous article "HONOR X8b breaks the mold of affordable smartphones" (https://mb.com.ph/2024/2/24/honor-x8b-breaks-the-mold-of-affordable-smartphones), affordability doesn't mean compromising on quality, contrary to popular belief.  The HONOR X7b proves its worth delivering a seamless and delightful user experience with its upgraded hardware, ultra-large battery and photography capabilities.  Let me quickly give you a rundown of all the cool features this awesome device offers.

Let us begin with its 6,000 mAh battery that can run for up to 3 days on a single charge. The HONOR X7b boasts the longest battery life among all HONOR X Series smartphones.   This translates to 18.5 hours of online streaming, 24.9 hours of social media browsing or 69.2 hours of music playback. This is good news to those who love to run multiple apps simultaneously, especially social media apps and games or perhaps those who rely heavily on location services because they are always on the go, this feature would truly put a smile on their faces.  Do note that even with HONOR X7b's mammoth 6,000mAh battery, it is the thinnest and lightest smartphone that can maintain 80% battery health even after 3 years of use.  The device comes with a 35W Super-Fast charger; a valuable feature to consider.

Now on to photography.  The HONOR 7Xb sports an awesome camera system composed of a 108MP main camera, a 5MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. It also features an 8 MP selfie camera.  With ample lighting, all cameras will rise to the challenge and are capable of clear, vibrant and detailed images.

Design-wise, the HONOR X7b is a stunner.  Its overall design is clean and simple.  Although minimalist in design, the back panel didn't fail to be a looker with its smooth yet somewhat textured pattern that shimmers when light strikes on its surface.  Of course, one wouldn't miss the two camera bumps.  The front shows off its 6.8-inch TFT/LCD with 90Hz refresh rate.  It features 800 nits peak brightness so even outdoors under direct sunlight, screen remains clear and visible.
