15,684 examinees pass February 2024 criminology licensure exam


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, March 6 said 15,684 out of 32,495 examinees, or 48.27 percent, passed the February 2024 Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE).

Mark Angelo Hidalgo Marquez of Notre Dame of Tacurong College was the top scorer for the February 2024 CLE, with an average of 91.3 percent.

The February 2024 CLE was administered by the Board of Criminology, headed by Chairman Ramil G. Gabao and members Lani T. Palmones and Warren M. Corpuz.

The examination was held from Feb. 2 to 4 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bohol, Calbayog, Cauayan (Isabela), Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Occidental Mindoro, Rosales and Bayambang (Pangasinan).

Previous CLE result

In the last CLE in August 2023, PRC identified 5,743 individuals out of the 17,576 who successfully cleared the exams.

Among the high achievers were Jericson Balaba Jalagat of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College-Marbel (top 1) and Kimberly Estrera Dayagro of Taguig City University (TCU) (top 2).

Oathtaking

Successful examinees interested in participating in the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register no later than noon on the day preceding the scheduled oath-taking date. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.

For those unable to attend the mass oath-taking, the option to join the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking is available. The schedule will be posted on the official website once confirmed.

To schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, choose "e-OATH" as the transaction.

Online registration will close five calendar days before the online oath-taking day.

Furthermore, inductees must print the "Oath of Professional" form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.

After the oath-taking, inductees should proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
