The 300-plus strong House of Representatives, acting as a Committee of the Whole, intends to carry out the adoption of Resolution of Both Houses (RBH) No.7 on Wednesday.
This was announced by Committee of the Whole Majority Leader Mandaluyong City lone district Rep. Neptali "Boyet" Gonzales II just before plenary discussions on the pro-Charter change (Cha-cha) measure was suspended at just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Wednesday will have been the sixth day of the deliberations of RBH No.7.
"While we have exhaustively and extensively discussed all the issues involved in this resolution, tomorrow morning we will still hear the resource persons who would be present here to share their thoughts," Gonzales said.
"And hopefully, the interpellations of the members will be limited on new matters that will be taken up tomorrow. It is the intention...that immediately thereafter, at around after lunch, that we will terminate the interpellations and proceed to adopt the resolution," he noted.

"So just to inform the members that will be our proposed procedure tomorrow," Gonzales further said.
He said a regular plenary session would be held after the conclusion of the Committee of the Whole.
RBH No.7 seeks to get rid of certain economic prohibitions in the 1987 Constitution. Doing so, proponents claim, would allow an influx of foreign direct investments to the Philippines.
