Ediscape is a farm development and agribusiness consultancy co-founded by Homer Deloso, the CEO and Chief Farming Officer, and his wife, Fraullyn. Together, they form the dynamic EDISCAPE Power Couple, sharing a vision to revolutionize the farming industry. With a strong passion for innovation and sustainable agriculture, their goal is to improve farming practices through introduction of technology and innovation, enhance the value chain, and create a more sustainable ecosystem for farming. Through their cutting-edge solutions, they aim to empower farmers, ease of doing farming, improve the quality and availability of fresh and healthy produce to the community, and contribute to earth greening.

Why are you into farming?

Farming is the path less taken by the youth, but we were inspired to go into farming because of the opportunity to make a positive impact on our local community and contribute to food sustainability. Witnessing the challenges
faced by local farmers and the importance of agriculture in our society motivated us to take an active role in farming. We were first influenced by our family's agricultural background and started getting involved in farming at a young age, learning from their experiences and gaining a passion for the industry, we then conceptualized Ediscape consultancy in 2019.

Trials and Triumphs

We have faced various trials in our farm, including unpredictable weather conditions, pest infestations, and market fluctuations. Overcoming these challenges required resilience, adaptability, and creative problem-solving. By implementing sustainable farming practices, seeking guidance from experienced mentors, and utilizing innovative technology, we were able to navigate these trials and emerge stronger. The key lesson we can share with other young people is the importance of perseverance, continuous learning, and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles in the agriculture industry.

Vision for the Future

Our vision for the future of our partner farms is centered on sustainable growth, community empowerment, and technological advancement. We aim to expand our operations while maintaining a strong focus on environmental stewardship and promoting the well-being of our local community. In line
with our consistent efforts to empower local farmers, we envision Ediscape playing a pivotal role in encouraging youth participation and driving positive change in the agriculture industry. Looking at the future of agriculture
in the Philippines, we see great potential for innovation, collaboration, and advancement in farming practices. By leveraging technology, embracing sustainable approaches, and fostering a supportive ecosystem for young farmers, we believe that the agriculture sector in the Philippines can achieve greater resilience and contribute significantly to food sustainability.
