22-year-old Sandro Muhlach admits that he became insecure when his younger brother Alonzo joined showbiz and followed in the footsteps of their father, Nino Muhlach. (hug kita bro, now na!)

“Nakafocus lahat kay Alonzo, hindi nila alam na ako yung panganay na anak. Pag premiere nights, si Alonzo ang front, background lang ako. As panganay, medyo nagseselos ako. Kaya may time nag-usap kami ni Papa. Medyo sensitive na kasi talaga ako that time. Pero naexplain sakin mabuti. Hanggang through years naging maayos. Narealize ko immature pa talaga ako noon at napepressure lang ako sa situation,'' Sandro recalls. (need mo rin ng mature person like me!)

He eventually got interested in joining showbiz. But he did not brag about his being the eldest son of Nino to penetrate the industry easily. He first experienced rejections before finally getting a spot in Sparkle of GMA7.  (ikaw na ata sparkle ng life ko bro!)

“Hindi alam ni Papa na nag-audition ako sa Sparkle. Nagulat na lang sya nung makapasok ako at proud sya sakin. Sa audition, alam ng Sparkle surname ko, pero di nila agad nakonek. Nung nakapasok na ko, dun lang nila ako tinanong. Sinabi ko na Papa ko si Nino Muhlach," Sandro shares. (pero sinabi mo rin na ako ang bro mo!)

Sandro has done several television projects. He is currently taping the remake of the Korean drama, "Shining Inheritance" for the Kapuso Network. “Ako po yung staff ni Ms.Kate Valdez. Chef po ako. Medyo makulit, yung binabara bara ko yung mga kasama ko rito." (ay pa-sample ng bara bara bro!)

If given the choice, he wants to be in drama and action, but for now, he is giving his best shot at all the opportunities he has been getting. (kahit pa raw magjubad ha!)

“More on drama and action po sana. Yung sexy darating naman tayo dyan. Pero sa photoshoot G naman tayo dyan sa paghuhubad. Lagi akong suki sa Imbestigador, lagi akong nakahubad sa mga re-enactment. Usually rapist. Versatile naman po ako. Kahit gay roles nasubukan ko na rin.” Sandro says. (ready ako sa BL series natin ha!)

Being a Muhlach may add pressure on Sandro’s showbiz career but he is determined to make his own name. He is thankful for the support of Nino and Alonzo “Nagstop na kasi si Alonzo magshowbiz. Nag-aaral sya ngayon at 14 years old na. Mas nagkakaroon na kami ng time magbonding na naappreciate ko talaga. At siya na ang pinaka-babaero sa amin!'' (layuan mo mga girls na yan bro!)

In his recent guest appearance on our Youtube Show, Marites University, he mentioned one of his inspirations, his girlfriend, and fellow Sparkle artist Shanelle Agustin. “Nakilala ko sya sa workshop ng Sparkle. Bawal po talaga yung magjowa sa workshop kaya jinowa ko nalang sya after the workshop (pwes, mag-workshop tayo bro!)
