BuCor has only 1 official Facebook account

The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said on Monday, March 18, it has only one Facebook account -- https://www.facebook.com/piobucorofficial -- as it warned the public against entertaining other social media accounts purportedly those of the bureau's.

“Any other Facebook pages claiming to represent BuCor are unauthorized and could potentially be fraudulent,” BuCor warned. 

“For accurate information and official communication with the bureau, please rely solely on the bureau's official and verified Facebook page,” it said. 

The BuCor has repeatedly warned the public over the years not to fall for fake social media accounts claiming to be from the bureau especially those soliciting money and goods.
