Face the rule of law and be accountable.
This was ACT Teachers Party-List Rep. France Castro's unsolicited advice to Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) church leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, who earlier this month chose not to attend inquires by the House of Representatives and the Senate.
"Payo namin kay Quiboloy: Hindi ka God, ni appointed Son of God at dapat kang sumunod sa rule of law at dapat maging accountable ka doon sa mga kasong inihain laban sa yo," the deputy minority leader said in a statement Sunday, March 17.
(Our advice to Quiboloy: You're neither God, nor even an appointed Son of God, and you must follow the rule of law and be accountable for the cases lodged against you.)
Castro is referring to Quiboloy popular title of self-proclaimed "Appointed Son of God" in his controversial church.

"Harapin mo ito sa korte at harapin mo rin ang kongreso, ang senado, doon sa pagpapatawag sayo kaugnay doon sa trabaho namin na in aid of legislation," she added.
(Face these in court and also in Congress, or in the Senate, based on our summons for you in our hearings in aid of legislation.)
Castro says that the pastor is facing before the Department of Justice (DOJ) cases of sexual abuse of a minor and qualified human trafficking. The Senate probe is about these criminal cases against Quiboloy, plus alleged labor violations.
Over in the House, the inquiry is about the alleged franchise violations television network SMNI, where Quiboloy is the honorary chairman.
