Dusit Davao hosts charity gala 'Archipelago'

Filipino creativity for a cause

Dedicated to supporting SOS Children's Village Davao and Field of Dreams Children's Charity Foundation, Dusit Davao recently organized a charitable gala fashion show in their Grand Ballroom last Feb. 3, 2024.

"Archipelago,” co-presented by Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation and Emilia Sitjar Jewellery, featured renowned designers Renee Salud, Jun Escario, and KAAYO Modern Mindanao.

The evening commenced with Jun Escario presenting both sophisticated and relaxed evening wear, followed by KAAYO Modern Mindanao's tribute to the rich culture of Mindanao.

Emilia Sitjar Jewellery showcased its 'Filipinoiserie Rhapsody' collection, pairing luxurious gowns with distinctive jewelry. The show concluded with the inimitable Renee Salud presenting a unique collection featuring Thai silk.

This charity gala made a significant impact by raising P100,000 each for SOS Children's Village Davao and Field of Dreams Children's Charity Foundation. The funds generated will contribute to their mission of providing a caring home for abandoned children and fostering stronger communities for the well-being of children.
