Under the insightful leadership of Eric T. Francia as President and CEO of ACEN Corporation, the company is thriving as the biggest renewable energy (RE) developer in the country; and has also been gainfully propagating the Ayala brand across its offshore markets in Australia, India, Vietnam, Indonesia and the United States.

ACEN’s development pipeline entails massive installations that must successfully reach 20 gigawatts (20,000 megawatts) by 2030 – and the initial batch of 5,000MW would be on commercial stream by 2025.

Francia’s visionary compass at ACEN’s helm has been auspiciously putting the company in the world map– especially with its determined resolve to lead the way in the early retirement and phaseout of coal plants, a step that valuably resonated at the recent COP28 Climate Change Summit in Dubai. When its newly minted partnership with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and The Rockefeller Foundation would come to fruition, ACEN’s coal retirement strategy will thrive as a model business case not just in the Philippines but for the rest of the world.
