Brig. Gen. Noel Vestuir, commander of the 802nd Infantry Brigade, and Police Col. Eugene Rebadomia, commander of the Regional Police Maneuver Force Battalion, met chiefs of police and municipal officials to establish mechanisms to maintain peace and order and stop killings and crime in the area.

Rebadomia encouraged families, relatives, and witnesses to give information regarding these incidents and report any criminal groups and personalities to the police and military.

Vestuir added that they are deploying additional troops to restrict the movement of criminals and deter them from terrorizing the people.

"This will make our people and communities feel secure," Vestuir said.
