Female PDLs visit loved ones at Bilibid on Valentine's Day

Persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City were allowed today, Feb. 14, Valentine's Day, to visit their loved ones at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City.

Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Gregorio Pio P. Catapang Jr. said CIW PDLs were feried by buses to celebrate this special day with their loved ones at NBP."

“After their visit, they will be brought back to CIW,” Catapang said. 

During Valentines Day, BuCor said “the usual visitation of PDLs at the NBP and other operating prison and penal farms are allowed including conjugal visits."
