Chiang Kai Shek College's first Chinese New Year celebration in the PH

Chiang Kai Shek College held their very first Chinese New Year celebration in the Philippines, welcoming the Year of the Dragon, last Feb. 8, 2024. It was held at their main campus located at 1274 Padre Algue Street, Tondo, Manila.

This is the first welcoming of the dragon, as marked by a dotting ceremony of the dragon head.

More than 3000 students, teachers, and guests attended the event, all in Chinese costumes or red attires to welcome the Chinese New Year 2024. The program includes the first Dragon and Lion Dance for the year, Chinese Folk Dance, Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Chorale Recitations, C-Pop Performance, and Mass Singing, among others.
