After securing the top-performing school title for the Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examination (RTLE) last year, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday, Feb. 12, that the Cagayan State University (CSU) - Andrews Campus has once again claimed the top spot for 2024.

Continuing its success from last year, CSU has once again achieved a 100 percent pass rate, with all 82 of its students passing the RTLE.

Meanwhile, San Pedro College in Davao City closely follows with an average of 89.86 percent.
Moreover, the PRC emphasized that 1,077 out of 1,383 have passed the February 2024 RTLE.
Adrian Justin Gallo Marasigan from Perpetual Help College of Manila topped the said examination, averaging 91.75 percent.

The February 2024 RTLE was administered by the Board of Respiratory Therapy, headed by Julita V. Toledo and Chairman with Senen O. Teope and Jesus M. Espinas as members.
The examination was held from Feb. 6 to 7 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Zamboanga.

In the last RTLE in February 2023, PRC identified 955 individuals out of the 1,345 who successfully cleared the exams.
Among the high achievers were Prince Joshua Guzman Carag from Cagayan State University - Andrews Campus, Elaine Fleur Usman Fino from Emilio Aguinaldo College-Dasmarinas, Shaira Lynneth Ludovice from the University of Perpetual Help System-Laguna, Hiyasmin Cortez Ramos from CSU-Andrews Campus, and Michel Josef Maglantay Ramos from the University of Batangas, all securing the top position with a score of 90.75 percent.

Oathtaking
All successful examinees interested in participating in the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register no later than noon on the day preceding the scheduled oath-taking date. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.
For those unable to attend the mass oath-taking, the option to join the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking is available. The schedule will be posted on the official website once confirmed.
To schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, choose "e-OATH" as the transaction.
Online registration will close five calendar days before the online oath-taking day.
Furthermore, inductees must print the "Oath of Professional" form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
After the oath-taking, inductees should proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
