Peeping Tom caught in Cebu City

CEBU CITY – A 21-year-old promodizer will spend the new year in jail after he was allegedly caught filming his female board mate inside a bathroom on Monday morning, Dec. 30, in Barangay San Nicolas here.

Investigation said the 24-year-old woman was taking bath when she noticed a cellphone from above the bathroom door.

The woman immediately rushed out of the toilet to check and caught the suspect recording a video with a cellphone while she was taking a bath.

The woman alerted her husband who apprehended the suspect.

The suspect admitted spying on the woman. The suspect was later taken to the police station.

Police said charges for violation of Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act will be filed against the suspect.
