Honor Philippines teases us with its 'Toughest phone of 2025' - the HONOR X9c 5G!  Drop it or dunk it in hot or cold water, this tough cookie is scheduled to launch on January 10, ushering in the new year.

Boasting an 'all angle triple defense feature', the HONOR X9c promises to be drop-proof, water- and heat-resistant.  HONOR Philippines Vice-President Stephen Cheng shares, "This is our biggest launch ever and we're excited to be dropping this at the same time we welcome 2025!"

Built to endure life's hardest knocks, this smartphone is tougher than your toughest day.  Here is why:

1.  The HONOR X9c 5G has an SGS 5-star rating for drop resistance.  It can survive falls of up to 2 meters without sustaining any damage.  This is equivalent to about 6.5 feet.

2. Next, the HONOR X9c 5G can withstand submersion in up to 25 centimeters (almost 10 inches) of water for about 5 minutes.  This is made possible by its IP65M water-resistant feature.

3.  Sure to create quite a stir on social media with its 'boiling test', the HONOR X9c 5G can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C (-40°F) to 70°C (158°F).
