Kenangan Coffee, a leading Indonesian coffee brand with 950 branches worldwide, has officially arrived in the Philippines. The brand’s first branch opened on Nov. 12 at SM Mall of Asia’s North Entertainment Mall, introducing Filipino customers to its acclaimed coffee menu, known for rich flavors and affordable quality.

The launch is a result of a partnership between Kenangan Coffee and the Fredley Group of Companies (FGC), a player in the Philippines' food and beverage industry. This collaboration aligns with FGC’s mission to diversify its offerings and meet evolving consumer demands.

“We are excited to welcome Kenangan Coffee to the Fredley Group family. This partnership reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, diverse dining experiences to the Filipino market,” said Avin Ong, founder and CEO of Fredley Group, during the branch opening. “We believe Kenangan Coffee’s unique flavors will resonate with local coffee lovers, and we’re thrilled to be part of its growth in the country.”

Kenangan Coffee’s menu highlights its Kenangan Latte, known for its creamy, smoky notes derived from black aren, or palm sugar. The brand is recognized in Indonesia for using premium locally sourced beans, a commitment that will extend to its Philippine offerings. Alongside the Kenangan Latte, the menu features a selection of specialty drinks and pastries, appealing to coffee aficionados seeking a new, convenient option.

Although many of Kenangan Coffee’s stores focus on grab-and-go service, the company plans to introduce a café-style experience in flagship Philippine locations, with additional branches set to open soon in SM East Ortigas, SM Megamall, SM Bicutan, SM Baguio, and SM North EDSA.
