Ma. Elvira Cecille Rivera Ynares, who worked at the office of Rizal Governor Nina Ricci Ynares in the capitol and is the daughter of incumbent Binangonan Vice Mayor Cecilio ‘Boyet’ Ynares, is gunning the position of mayor.

Comelec-Binangonan Election Officer Camille Consuelo Cuaderno told Manila Bulletin except for the two Ynareses, no one else filed their COC for the mayoralty and vice mayoralty position, making the tandem of the Nationalist Peoples Coalition for the two positions unopposed for the 2025 election.
