Harry Roque's wife Myla placed on immigration lookout bulletin

An immigration lookout bulletin order (ILBO) has been issued against Myla Roque, the wife of former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

However, BI Spokesperson Dana Sandoval said that based on BI records, Mrs. Roque left the Philippines last Sept. 3 or 13 days before the issuance of the ILBO last Sept. 16.

Sandoval said the House of Representatives, which has been investigating the reported illegal activities of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) in the country, had been informed of the ILBO.

The Roque spouses have been ordered arrested by the House of Representatives.  The arrest order for Myla was for her refusal to  attend the hearings.  In the case of Harry, he was ordered arrested for the second time for his refusal to submit documents required by the House of Representatives.

Harry has not surrendered or has been arrested.

While Myla has been out of the country since Sept. 3, Sandoval said that her husband "has no recent departure as per our records."  The ILBO against Harry was issued by the BI last Aug. 6.

The House of Representatives Quad-Committee (Quad-Comm) has also been investigating the connection of the Roques in a POGO.
