It took several cancellations before I finally got to be on GMA7’s Family Feud, hosted by multi-awarded actor Dingdong Dantes (baka may humaharang?! Chos!) There were instances when our schedules didn’t meet. (ako at yung teammates!arte-artehan?!) There were also some sudden changes in the plan from the production team (attitude?!) But recently, my Marites University co-hosts Rose Garcia, Jun Nardo, Ambet Nabus, and I taped an exciting episode for the game show. (bawal magkasawaan ha!) The other team members were comedians Terry, Divine, Skelly, and Anne. (so lumaban ba naman kami?!)

I remember playing in the show many years ago. (noong unang panahon!) I was with my fellow radio jocks. (Bata bata pa kami noon) Dingdong was just starting his hosting career  (akala ko nga magiging kami!) That’s why seeing Dingdong’s new career level as a host and actor is nice. (may Marian Rivera pa!) It also feels good to know the production staff. Most of them were my colleagues when I was still doing shows for the Kapuso Network, like my first showbiz-oriented talk show, Tweetbiz. (kaya feeling reunion ito!)

Family Feud is always at the top of the ratings game. (lalo na siguro pag umere na episode namin!)  Many of the show’s snippets are uploaded online, especially if there are exciting scenarios or funny answers from the contestants. (na minsan parang galing sa ibang planeta kung sumagot!) You don’t have to be a highly-intelligent individual to answer the survey questions (hindi kailangang summa cum laude!) You really tend to rattle during the actual game. (pero yung mga televiewers kung maka-okray, sila ang perfect!)

The show’s team would conduct the survey randomly (kahit sino, kahit ano estado sa life!). No wonder they sometimes get unexpected answers. (wag nalang natin silang i-judge!) But one thing is sure: the show doesn’t fail to entertain. It may be a concept from a foreign franchise, but our Pinoy version always projects a different flavor. Pero walang kupas sa paghahatid ng entertainment ang programa. (ube flavor ba o durian?!)
