'Pasilyo's' lyrics now resonate more kilig

During their electrifying performance at the Eastwood City New Year's countdown, Dan Ambao, the lead vocalist and guitarist of SunKissed Lola, took the opportunity to surprise his beloved girlfriend, Mika Aoki, with a heartfelt proposal.

The heartwarming moment was captured in a viral TikTok video that quickly gained attention.

Before getting down on one knee, Dan introduced his daughter Luna to the crowd, followed by introducing his wife Mika.

“Gusto ko lang ipaalam sa inyo na ang kanta naming si Luna, ito po si Luna. Siya po yung misis ko si Mika. May gusto lang akong sabihin sa harap ninyong lahat. Halika ka dito, love. Gusto ko sabihin sa inyo na mahal na mahal ko kayo kayong dalawa ni Luna,” Dan said.

With the spotlight on them, Dan expressed his love for both Luna and Mika, emphasizing how important they are to him. He also expressed his gratitude to his bandmates for making this moment possible and thanked the audience for their unwavering support.

“Maraming salamat sa banda ko kasi kung hindi dahil sa inyo hindi maging posible ito. Maraming-maraming salamat sa inyong lahat na sumusuporta sa amin,” the “Pasilyo” singer added.

As Dan revealed the black engagement box, the crowd erupted with excitement.

With tears in his eyes, he asked Mika, "Love, will you marry me?" The genuine emotion in his voice was evident as he confessed, "I'm trembling, guys."

Sunkissed Lola is a Filipino rock band that originated from Zambales in 2021. Known for their popular songs "Pasilyo," "Luna," and "Paki Sabi," have captured the hearts of many with their music and now, with this beautiful engagement.
