Janine Teñoso starts year on the right note with 'Hulaan'

Janine Teñoso just dropped her first single this year.

Titled “Hulaan,” it is a collaborative effort with Alvin Serito, vocalist and guitarist of popular band Sunkissed Lola.

Note that Alvin is the brains behind his band's breakout hit “Pasilyo.”

Janine is always up for a collaboration.

She has worked prior with Arthur Nery on “Pelikula” and Cup Of Joe on “Tingin,” which has earned over 51 million streams on Spotify alone.

It also aced the Collaboration of The Year honors at the recent Wish Music Awards.  

Relating "Hulaan," Janine shared that she and Bino simply just wanted to have a bit of "fun.“

They wrote the song only last year, taking three months to finish.

"This song is about a guy who keeps appearing in my dreams that I just had to write about and ‘Hulaan’ is what Bino and I came up with,” Janine revealed.

 Janine also mentioned that she would like to eventually “write and record a song with Sunkissed Lola.”

Janine is among featured headliners of the upcoming modern harana concert titled “ILYSM (I Love You So Much),” set to happen on February 13 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

She is sharing the bill with Adie, Rob Deniel, Rhodessa, mrld, ALAMAT and Arthur.
