Robinsons Antipolo opened its space for the exhibit of some 70 replicas of the image of Nuestra Senora Dela Paz y Buenviaje or Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, a brown-skinned image of the Virgin Mary holding a scepter and a rosary, enshrined in the cathedral.

The exhibit, dubbed the Virgen de Antipolo Replica Exhibit, showcases images of the brown-skinned Madonna.

Fr. Reynante Tolentino, rector and administrator of the Antipolo Shrine, said the replicas are owned by devotees themselves, who have their own stories to tell about their profound devotion to the Blessed Virgin of Antipolo.

The exhibit is open to the public and will run until Jan. 27 at the Atrium North Wing of Robinsons Antipolo.

A Holy Mass and serenade at the mall are also scheduled for Jan. 20, 21, and 27 as part of the celebration of the international shrine’s solemn declaration event.

The first-ever procession of the official replica of Antipolo’s Virgin was also held inside and outside the mall before the opening of the exhibit ceremony that was conducted earlier this week.

Meanwhile, ahead of the much-anticipated date of the declaration, prelates from all over the country will gather at the Antipolo Cathedral for the official proclamation as an international shrine. It will be presided over by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, His Excellency, Most Reverend Charles John Brown, D.D.
