Albay bettor wins P571 million with 'lucky pick' numbers
After winning the P571 million Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot, an Albay lottery player attested that the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) games and draws were "real and authentic."
The lucky winner, who selected the "lucky pick" method, matched the Dec. 29 winning numbers, which were 19-35-25-42-58-05.
"Ang masasabi ko lang sa mga nagsasabi na hindi totoo ang mga nanalo sa lotto ay nagkakamali po kayo (All I can say to those who say that lotto winners are not real is that you are wrong)," the bettor said as she claimed the prize at the PCSO Main Office on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
"Kailangan niyo tumaya para malaman niyo na totoo ang lotto. (You have to bet to know that the lottery is real),” she added.

The multi-millionaire shared her plans to prioritize savings and give a portion to charity.
She played the Ultra lotto game after being motivated by the PCSO's "Handog Pakabog" Christmas promotion, which increased the minimum guaranteed jackpot to P500 million.
Last Dec. 16, the PCSO increased the minimum guaranteed jackpot for the Ultra Lotto 6/58 and Grand Lotto 6/55 to P500 million each as part of the agency's “Handog-Pasasalamat” Christmas draws.
The PCSO, however, reminded that prizes exceeding P10,000 are subject to 20 percent final tax by the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
The winner must also write their name, sign at the back of the winning ticket, and present two government-issued IDs to facilitate the claims process.
